Education in community eye health - both in and outside the UK - is a major role of ICEH. Our activities include:

Education at LSHTM

ICEH runs a Masters in Community Eye Health and three short courses at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). In addition, some modules of the masters course can also be taken indivudually. 

Education outside the UK

ICEH works with partners to develop short courses in community eye health and co-ordinate VISION 2020 workshops all over the world covering themes such as advocacy of VISION 2020 principles and programmes, national planning of resource provision and district planning for service delivery of eye care.

VISION 2020 links programme

The VISION 2020 Links Programme is an ICEH initiative to give teaching eye institutions in developing countries the skills and resources to develop high quality programmes for eye care professionals.
