The International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH) carries out research and education activities to improve eye health and eliminate avoidable blindness, with a focus on low income populations.

Research

At ICEH we conduct research into prevention and treatment of the major causes of blindness and work with other organizations involved in the prevention of blindness.

Education

Education in community eye health - both in and outside the UK - is a major role of ICEH.

As part of its educational work ICEH develops and disseminates practical, up-to-date resources for teaching and learning community eye health.
